Established as a place of Worship in 1957 and consecrated in 1988, St. Philip's is dedicated to the glory and praise of Almighty God with the purpose of drawing all people into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through His Body the Church. St. Philip's seeks to know Christ and to make Him known by Word and Sacrament, celebrating our Anglican heritage, both Catholic and Reformed, as expressed in the Scriptures and the liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer.
Our worship is centered at the Altar in the Holy Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion, the Lord's Supper, or the Mass Services are conducted using both traditional and contemporary Rites.
The Anglican Church of Canada welcomes all Baptized Christians who are communicants in their own churches and in good conscience desire to receive the Sacrament of the Body and Blood of Christ to came to the Altar for Holy Communion.
In addition to our Sunday Services, St. Philip's provides opportunity to know the Lord and serve Him through Christian Education and the various groups and activities as outlined on this website. The clergy are available to assist any who wish spiritual counsel. The Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Marriage, Penance, and Unction are available to members of St. Philip's upon request and spiritual preparation. If you are visiting our city or without a place of worship in Moncton, please consider St. Philip's your spiritual home.
